It allows to issue a Wiegand data in 26 bits to the control unit, so that it processes a facial recognition as if it were an access control credential, thus allowing to take advantage of already deployed access infrastructures or presence compatible with standard Wiegand readers. Very useful in areas of free passage to avoid the use of lathes or mechanical aisles and make the signing transparently for users.

    Wiegand and clock/data reader port plus one open collector output. Our programmable devices have the unique ability to process input from card readers with clock/data or Wiegand interface. This is achieved through the ser. object running in the clock/data or Wiegand mode. Tibbit #08 implements necessary hardware. In order to be able to process card reader output, this Tibbit has to be connected to the RX and CTS lines of the CPU's UART.

    This Tibbit is capable of generating up to 700mA of 5V power from the external input in the 9-18V range. Multiple power supply Tibbits can be used to increase available current or for power redundancy. The module has a dedicated shutdown (-SDWN) line. Pull the line LOW to disable this Tibbit. Combine this Tibbit with #18 (it has a power jack and two terminal blocks), #20 (nine terminal blocks), or #21 (four terminal blocks).

    Size 2 Tibbo Project PCB is a Tibbo BASIC/C-programmable board belonging to the Tibbo Project System (TPS) line. Offering 3 tiles for a total of 6 Tibbit module and 6 Tibbit connector sockets, the TPP2 can be used to create TPS configurations with up to four serial ports, up to 12 relays, or up to 24 control lines, such as opto-inputs, PWMs, or open-collector outputs. This product can be used as a bare board or assembled into a size 2 Tibbo Project Box (TPB2). The board is also compatible with and can be assembled into the TPB2L, which features a 320x240 TFT LCD and a 4-button sensor keypad. The TPP2 is perfect for systems with a medium number of I/O lines. Since the board can control a TFT display and a keypad, it is suitable for applications requiring a human-machine interface (HMI). The board is an ideal choice for automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) systems, as well as factory, shop, data center, hotel, and home safety, security, and automation applications. The TPP2 is supported by our Online Configurator. The configurator allows defining custom TPS systems, which can then be ordered from our online store.
