The DUOX trunk shunt is an intermediate device in a DUOX installation whose main functions are to isolate, distribute, regenerate and feed trunks in the installation. If a fault occurs in a trunk or in the input, due to a short circuit in the bus, or due to a data failure, it does not affect each other. Likewise, it is not strictly necessary to put a power supply at the outputs of each of the trunks since the device is capable of supplying said trunks (respecting the maximum loads).
