The MR-62E is a network-ready and PoE (Power-over-Ethernet)-enabled I/O module that will interface card readers or a set of paired card readers and associated door hardware (for two doors) and one general-purpose control relay. Its compact 2.75" x 5.5" (75 mm x 140 mm) size makes it ideal for applications requiring installation at or near the door it is controlling. The MR-62E can be powered locally (from a 10-14 VDC power supply) or via a PoE-enabled Ethernet switch. The unit passes access request and status change information to the SCP for processing. When not connected to an SCP, it is capable of locally processing access requests based on facility code verification. Up to eight facility codes may be active in each MR-62E. Native support for OSDP readers, does not support Wiegand readers.

The MRDT Display Terminal provides robust communications functionality in a single package.
