The KRYPTO K2 MIFARE® and DESFire® EV2® readers, when used together with an A22K controller and CDVI EV2 cards, do not require any type of previous programming to start operating. They have CDVI's own security protocol with diversified authentication keys (unique for each installation) and the result was an encrypted communication with the card (AES128) and the A22K (AES256), thus guaranteeing the security of information exchanges.
