The GS960 series are acoustic glass break detectors that emit an alarm when the glass breaks in intrusion attempts through windows, doors and glass walls. They use an advanced microcontroller technology that is programmed to take into account many relevant acoustic factors. Using “Digital room compensation”, these detectors can distinguish between a true glass break and other irrelevant sounds. In parallel, the design of the detectors makes them suitable for wall or ceiling mounting, as long as they have a free “line of sight” for the window being protected. The GS960AM is also equipped with an AM function, a separate relay, which emits an alarm to sabotage the microphone. By completely sealing the microphone with elastic material, such as chewing gum or insulating tape, it will be detected. When these materials are removed, the sensor will return to its normal state.
