It has several modes of operation, smoke + heat, smoke only and only heat. The "Only Heat" mode can be installed in difficult environments, such as kitchens or bathrooms. Early detection is achieved from the rapid rise in temperature before the smoke is detected. The four heat sensors measure the fixed temperature and the rapid increase of it with precise measurements and high immunity against false alarms.
