A safety backed power supply module is designed for an uninterrupted supply of alarm system devices that require a stabilized voltage of 12 VDC (+/- 15%). A linear stabilization system, which has been used in the unit, provides voltage with a lower noise level and a faster response to interference compared to a switched mode regulator. The PSU module provides a voltage of U = 13.8 VDC with current capacity: (1) Output current 1Amp (without battery). (2) Output current 0.9Amp + 0.1Amp for battery charge.
