The MRDT Display Terminal provides robust communications functionality in a single package. When combined with Mercury’s EP or AP series of intelligent access platforms, the unit brings an interactive link and truly integrated functionality to the terminal, a major plus for end-user convenience and satisfaction. The MRDT combines a 32-character LCD display and a multi-position keypad. Even in challenging settings, the back-lit LCD yields clear information displays. Text is displayed as sent by the controller, providing access and alarm status feedback or other freeform messaging or instructions that the system generates. The keypad features standard numerics and 4 function keys to select display options. Deployed with the Mercury family of access platforms, the MRDT is capable of creating custom tasks with any of the functions keys, which mimic system command console functionality at the doorway. And supporting Wiegand, magnetic stripe and proximity devices, the unit connects to the system via either a 2-wire RS-485 link or a TTL connection. Menu-driven configuration is easily conducted at the keypad.

Expansion board for the ACUs of the ASD series that increases the outputs, allows the connection of an output board through the I2C expansion bus of the ASD ACUs. Includes 24 outputs.

It allows to connect up to 4 boards (boards of 1 or 2 lines for 4+N system). Each of the decoder outputs is programmed with a 3-digit MDS address. This address identifies each board connected to each output, differentiating it from the rest of the terminals in the installation. When making a call from the Guard Unit, the MDS address corresponding to the marked home is generated, so that only the decoder that has a programmed output with the generated MDS address will establish communication. This decoder has been designed to work only with MDS-Digital and AC Plus systems. It has 8 relay outputs, which can be configured as bistable (switching of the relay on each activation) or as timed (closing each relay for a time that can range from 1 to 255 seconds). In "timed mode" a counter starts counting from the moment the relay is activated, and it is deactivated when the chosen time has expired.
