Optical state and sensor breakout indicator. 1 alarm relay output programmable between 2 levels (20% LIE / 50% LIE), instant/retarded disconnection, programmation retard of connection and initial state of the relay in repose. Power 10V to 30V DC. Calibrated in factory with span gas. No need to recalibrate in the installation. Easy verification and maintenance operations by a single worker. As simple click-out, click-in mechanism makes replacement possible in a couple of seconds. The detector automatically re-calibrates the detection sensitivity on first start up.

If a detector drifts out of sensitivity range or fails the internal diagnostics test, this is reported back to the panel and indicated on the detector with a yellow fault LED.

    The DB702 is a conventional fire detector base used for all 700 series conventional fire detectors. It includes a normally closed continuity switch to allow for easy cable testing during installation. Inserting a detector into the base “opens” the continuity switch in the base to allow for standard open circuit monitoring. A locking mechanism implementation in conjunction with the detector allows for the detector to be safeguarded against unauthorized removal.
